Treatment Plans

Classic Range: Assessment
Full Dentures (30 minutes) | Single Denture (30 minutes)

In the preliminary assessment stage the patient will come in to the clinic to assess their individual needs, requirements and suitability to the ranges of dentures discussed. If the patient requires x-rays then this will also be carried out at this stage.


Bite Stage
Full Dentures (30 minutes) | Single Denture (20 minutes)

Tooth position and bite ascertained and master impressions taken.


Try In
Full Dentures (20 minutes) | Single Denture (20 minutes)

Bite checked and cosmetics agreed.


Retry In (if required)
Full Dentures (20 minutes) | Single Denture (20minutes)

If required for adjustments when necessary.


Insertion
Full Dentures (15 minutes) | Single Denture (15 minutes)

This is the first stage at which the patient will get to try their new dentures. Any high spots are checked and the dentures are assessed for comfort and fit.


Review
Full Dentures (10 minutes) | Single Denture (10 minutes)

The review stage is carried out to make sure that the dentures provide maximum comfort after a trial period. Any high spots or imperfections are addressed at this stage before the final dentures are deemed comfortable.

Bite Stage
Full Dentures (50 minutes) | Single Denture (40 minutes)

The patients bite registration is taken to establish the correct position of dentures to give the best functional and cosmetic results.

Simon will also give the patient the opportunity to choose the denture tooth shade and mould. Master impressions are taken using custom made impression trays with a two stage silicone impression technique to ensure good stability and comfort at the later try in stage.


Try In
Full Dentures (40 minutes) | Single Denture (40 minutes)

When you arrive for your try in stage, Simon will have constructed a set of wax trial dentures for you to test. The cosmetics and evenness of the bite are checked at this stage and any minor alterations required can be carried out chair side with any major adjustments carried out for your next visit.


Retry In (if required)
Full Dentures (30 minutes) | Single Denture (30 minutes)

If required for adjustments when necessary.


Insertion
Full Dentures (20 minutes) | Single Denture (20 minutes)

The patient will now get to try their new dentures. The bite and cosmetics are once again checked, any high spots are also checked and the dentures are assessed for comfort and fit.


Review Appointments
Full Dentures (10 minutes x 2) | Single Denture (10 minutes x 2)

A 1 week review appointment is arranged to make sure that the dentures are settling correctly and then a 2 week review appointment is arranged if required (also 10 minutes)


Bespoke: Assessment
Full Dentures (30 minutes) | Single Denture (30 minutes)

Bite Stage
Full Dentures (80 minutes) | Single Denture (60 minutes)

Simon will discuss the individual needs and requirements of the patient to ensure the desired cosmetic outcome of the produced dentures are clear. the desired tooth position will be gauged using custom made wax rims and the required cosmetic and functional outcomes discussed, master impressions will then be taken using specifically made impression trays with a three stage silicone impression.


Try In
Full Dentures (90 minutes) | Single Denture (70 minutes)

The selected teeth are individually placed into the wax trial plates at this stage, this gives the bespoke patient an opportunity to see how the teeth are placed and also have an input in the end result as the tooth placement is checked in stages which the patient can see.

At the end of the try in stage the patient or Simon deems it necessary to do so, another trial appointment is scheduled to ensure complete satisfaction.


Retry In (if required)
Full Dentures (50 minutes) | Single Denture (40 minutes)

The dentures are once again checked to make sure that the comfort and fit is perfect.


Insertion
Full Dentures (30 minutes) | Single Denture (30 minutes)

The patient will now get to try their new dentures. The bite and cosmetics are once again checked, any high spots are also checked and the dentures are assessed for comfort and fit.


Review Appointments
Full Dentures (15 minutes x 2) | Single Denture (15 minutes x 2)

A 1 week review appointment is arranged to make sure that the dentures are settling correctly and then a 2 week review appointment is arranged if required (also 10 minutes)
